Scholarship Program for Young American Pianists
The purpose of the Chopin Foundation’s Scholarship Program is to support and encourage young, talented American pianists through up to four years of preparation for the National Chopin Piano Competition. Renewable scholarships of $1,000 are awarded on a competitive basis to outstanding young American pianists.
Presented in partnership with the Chopin Foundation of the United States, the Frost Chopin Academy offers pianists up to the age of 29, the opportunity to room and board for 10 days at the state-of-the-art facilities of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and to exclusively immerse themselves in the works of Frederic Chopin while learning first-hand from the world’s most distinguished Chopin specialists.
