It has been a banner year for the Chopin Foundation. From the successful presentation of the 11th National Chopin Piano Competition hosted by the University of Miami Frost School of Music in January, to witnessing two of our American winners earn top medals at the International Competition in Warsaw in October, there have been one milestone after another.

A new chapter in American Chopin history has been written — one that began on our stage in Miami and reached its brilliant pinnacle in Warsaw. From the Chopin Foundation of the United States to the world, this moment is one we are proud to share with the world.

William Yang at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall – June 17, 2025 - 8 PM

The Chopin Foundation of the United States proudly presents 24-year-old pianist William Yang, First Prize, Best Mazurka, and Best Sonata Winner of its 11th National Chopin Piano Competition, which took place in Miami from January 4–12, 2025. Held every five years since 1975, this prestigious Competition is open exclusively to American pianists between the ages of 17 and 30. In addition to the $100,000 top prize, underwritten by Blanka A. Rosenstiel and the Rosenstiel Foundation, the Chopin Foundation has arranged this debut recital at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall as part of Mr. Yang's prize package and Winner's Tour.

Under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor, Andrey Boreyko, the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra will conclude their exclusive Florida tour on April 5, 2022 with a highly anticipated concert at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami.
